I found an ad (quite a while ago, actually!), for a tune up at Pat's Garage in the Potrero View Newspaper. I clipped it out, and saved it! My Toyota made a weird whirring noise, so I took it in for a check-up. Not only did Pat's accept the old ad, they were very professional, and friendly. I met Auggie, Pat, and Karen (not sure if I spelled her name right). All very friendly people. Their shop is immaculate and decorated with all sorts of cool art work and travel mementos, old car models, bicycles, and other modes of transport! They found the problem and had the car fixed and ready to roll (literally) by 3pm. I would definitely recommend them!

These guys try harder -- and in the kindest possible way. Keeping a 26-year-old Honda cooking on all four cylinders (intake; exhaust; brake -- three essential automotive food groups) takes dedication beyond the call and, yes, even sacrifice. Augie and crew make it happen (again and again) -- under the serene guidance of the Old Man. What's not to like ?
