San Francisco's Japanese Auto Repair Specialists

I went to the Honda dealer in San Francisco and was given a list of 4 items that needed to be fixed with a total quote of over $2,000. One of which was the brakes, and when I told them I didn't want to perform the service, they cautioned me that my brakes "could drop out" if it wasn't replaced and that it should be addressed immediately. At Pat's garage, they reviewed the quote provided by the dealer, advised that my brakes were NOT in any way a danger, and completed all of the necessary work -- only ONE of the items from the original quote -- for about 1/4 the dealer quoted price. Very honest, fair, and transparent. Will happily bring my car back to them anytime.

I live in Dogpatch so having such a professional and courteous garage nearby is a great convenience. This time I had to take my car in to get an engine check issue resolved. Making the appointment on-line was easy. Problem was identified and then Forrest advised me as to what exactly had to be fixed today and what would be prudent to do but could be safely deferred as I have budget constraints. He, like all his colleagues at Pat's Garage, is a good communicator and takes the time to explain servicing issues in a manner that a non car enthusiast can understand.
