This is a great garage, or rather maybe I should say "car clinic." They do the right thing, are honest, efficient, friendly, eco-minded and smart. They have been keeping my '98 Honda running well for many years.
Pat explained everything clearly, and repeated his explanation until I fully understood it. While my car was being worked on, a sensor broke, and the garage took full responsibility for replacing it and did not charge me for the labor or part. The people are friendly, and the waiting room is comfortable.

I have been taking my '99 Honda Civic EX here for the last 5 years (even since moving to the East Bay!) and I could not recommend them more. Augie and the rest of the staff are very helpful, friendly, and realistic about what must be fixed now and what can wait a while. It's a relief to find honest mechanics who don't make you feel talked down to or overcharged. If only they were closer to me, it would be perfect, but that's what I get for moving to Berkeley.
Love Pat's Garage. They're good people I can trust, they do excellent work on my car at reasonable prices, and they're pleasant to deal with. I also like their online scheduling, very handy. And their commitment to sustainability only adds to their other excellent qualities.
