Pat's came recommended from a friend for Honda work. They were thoroughly professional and friendly, and while speaking to Augie on the phone after he assessed my problem (check engine light = bad oxygen sensor, in this case) he didn't recommend any further work even though the possibility had come up earlier, pending what they found. I dropped the car off at 7:30am and it was ready by 2 that afternoon. A very good experience overall!

Take your car here if you want an honest, reliable, affordable mechanic. I've dealt with a lot of bad auto repair shops in SF but I'll definitely be coming back to Pat's in the future. They did an excellent job explaining what repairs absolutely needed to be fixed now, and what things could be done later...no pressure, no up-selling...perfect. Highly recommended.

Outstanding service. Honest. It looked like my car needed a new transmission but they checked the Honda website and realized I was under warranty for a recall item. If they hadn't checked, the cost of the transmission would have been more than the car was worth. I would have to get a new car. They are thorough and trustworthy and the folks who work there are awesome!
