I always feel like I'm getting honest and good service here. They understand I am on a budget and, I feel, work accordingly. On my most recent visit, they helped me figure out what was necessity and would could wait in order to stay closer to my budgeted amount for repairs. The things that could wait I will save up for and head in to Pat's when I can. They are friendly and explain, for the most part, what's what and why I need it. I appreciate their efforts to be green, too. My only complaints are that even though I live only about 5 minutes away driving, the neighborhood is a bit too sketchy to walk home through so I have to cab or embark on an hour & 1/2 long muni to BART to walk/bus home. They are fairly close to the T Line Muni if you can go that route. The only other issue I have is that they aren't ever opened weekends when it is easiest for me to drop my car off.

After years of questionable or downright horrible service elsewhere, l started bringing my car to Pat's Garage. At Pat's they always explain each step of any job and work quickly if repairs are needed. My regular mechanic is Rich. He's hella fine....uh...ooops, wrong review....Rich is an impressive combination of auto mechanic, educator and enthusiast. If I brought in a small single engine aircraft, he might be able to get it to fly better (Caution: They will turn away planes. So try to stick a Honda logo on it or something first.) For my money and piece of mind, I go to Pat's. Thanks Rich.

Everyone in my family drives a Honda and the only place we take them to is Pats Garage. They know what to do and they tell you everything you need to know. They don't offer services you don't need. I gave my Accord to my sister and now drive a Nissan but I still take my car there. My mom's Pilot is a regular as well. I highly recommend taking your car here and no where else...why because they treat you like family!

So great.I found this place through Yelp (thanks!) and I am so thankful and relieved.First, I had them fix my trunk lock. Timing is everything as that very afternoon we experienced a tremendous rainfall. Then, I moved across the Bay but I was so stoked with their attitude and performance that I decided to have my annual check up with them. Brake pads, belts, plugs, fluids.... These guys are cool. Fast. Dependable, Seem honest. Are nice.Great location.I'm a fan, for sure.

I have delayed getting my car fixed because I thought it was going to be a huge bill. I finally had to bring my car in because I was afraid that it wasn't going to start. Fortunately, the prices were very reasonable for both the parts and labor. I was also able to make a reservation by sending an email, which was a huge help because I had two days of meetings. I brought the car in the morning and it was fixed the same day, though I couldn't make it back in time so they parked my car in the garage overnight. And the next day, when I came to pick up my car, the guy remembered my name which is more than I can saw for my last two mechanics.

Love Pat's garage. I completely trust both their advice and the work that they do. I've been going there for three years with both my Subaru and our Toyota and they've done excellent work each time. And, when they think think that work is not warranted, they'll let you know that too.

My car is my baby and I love taking it to a place where the people all know what's going on and what they're all talking about. Pat's is such a place. Everyone here is super freaking nice and they all are genuinely interested in you and your automobile. They don't give you a run around, they don't give you long winded "recommendations" they just wrench on your car, tell you what's wrong (should there be something wrong) and tell you how they'll fix it. Truly hassle free mechanic. Best part is they fairly recently starting servicing Subarus. I will take my Subie no where else.

Gotta like Pat's Garage. They do a good job with 1993 Honda Civic EX and keep it running. I want to keep that car going for a long time to come.

I took my Honda here for about five years while i lived in SF. Pat's is the best garage I have found in the whole city. Here is why:1. They are honest, A rarity in garages these days.2. They take the time to explain problems. How many times have you forked over $400 or more and not really known what they are fixing in your car? Not at Pats. Plus they'll honestly recommend what you neeed to fix ASAP.3. Tthey fix carsRIGHT the first time. They are knowledgeable and they know Japanese cars inside/out. Bottom line is: You could shop around and find a slightly cheaper mechanic but beware! Pat's is worth it if you want a mechanic you can trust and you want to keep your car running smoothly. And for me, that is truly peace of mind.
