I've taken my car here three times. The first time they were great, they did an inspection/fluid changes and even informed me of a recall I was able to get fixed for free at the dealership. They tuned my car up for a 3000 mile road trip in mountains snow age ice! I do put a lot of wear and tear on my car and they know that, ....even though the miles are low... it's a Subaru that actually goes off road. However my cars alternator went out .... Recently .. and I had it towed to them.. unfortunately they could not diagnose the problem I knew it was thee belt slipping and maybe the alternator.....and even showed them pics of the serpentine belt cracked. Then.... I think they broke the cover that covered my engine ? I also think they stole a Subaru emblem off of my car. They left the broken pieces in my back seat. It's a $400 part on Subaru pro parts to replace. I fixed my own belt, fyi....pretty easy . As a woman, I would not go back here alone. It is really too bad because they seem like good people overall, but I don't think they are competent. Bring your boyfriend, dad brother etc.... lol. They will ignore your concerns if you are woman. Go to K&C. He's the real Subaru guy in SF..
